Rather than just present the brains I have made as they are I came up with this idea to contain them all within a generic shell, something plane and genderless to highlight the diverse and colourful nature of each piece. The idea would be to provide something blank and expressionless that would act as canvas for my animations and further the idea of physical outward appearance not necessarily reflecting the inside.
After drawing out a brief deign, I opened up Blender and MeshLab and between the two sculpted a figure than wasn’t exclusively male or female and added robotic futuristic elements. I then coloured it a dark metallic colour and set the face layer to clear so that I could import my brain models into it and animate them inside to be visible.
